Platform: Windows, Mac, Linux
Release Date: November 21, 2017
Dramatic Gorilla Race is the long awaited prequel to the classic game Saskatchewan! The idea of gorillas racing and fighting to see who can reach five laps came to me during the Fall Game Jam at Shiftkey Labs. The game has much more to do than the predecessor, such as:
Note: this game is only a joke, so don't take it too seriously. The text-to-speech was taken from Google Translate. The Mac build was not tested, and due to the fact that it is a game jam game, it could have a lot of bugs.
Dev Notes: Dramatic Gorilla Race is a crazy game that I made for Windows (make and Linux had later builds) for the Fall Game Jam at Lighthouse Labs in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The game requires two players to play well, and due to it being a game jam game, expect bugs and possibly low-quality. Google owns the Google Translate services used in this game. The only part of the game not developed by myself were some assets that came with Unity, the gorilla model made by Junnichi Suko, and the music, made by Kevin MacLeod.
